My Immuno is a supplement made from ascorbic acid (the natural form of Vitamin C) with the addition of bioflavonoids (natural molecules found in lemons and oranges) and the amino acids lysine and proline.
In order to fully understand the usefulness of this supplement it is important to learn more about its main elements and their functions as have been explained by two great researchers in the field of medicine: Dr. Linus Pauling, winner of two Nobel Prizes and Dr. Rath.
Vitamin C has a fundamental function because together with the amino acids lysine and proline it constitutes our connective tissue (or collagen). These three elements are everywhere and it goes without saying that a healthy connective tissue is important to our health.
A lack of vitamin C and lysine are the major causes of reductions in the immune system’s defences and cardio-vascular problems because they are required to repair the walls of damaged blood vessels that are in fact made of collagen.
There are also cells in our body that need to move through our tissues. Like, for example, white corpuscles and ova, as well as viruses and carcinogenic cells. To travel through the tissues these cells use enzymes (protheolitic enzymes) that dissolve the connective tissue to allow a cell to pass through.
The problem is that if nature had not envisaged a way of blocking these enzymes, they would continue in their function of destroying connective tissue. This important function is carried out by the molecule lysine which by deactivating the protheolitic enzymes, regulates the inflammation of the blood vessels.
